EcoFlow Ocean2 Single-Phase is a next-generation residential energy storage solution designed to provide fast installation, outstanding durability, and maximum flexibility. This system enables intelligent home energy management through a mobile app or web portal, delivering up to 6 kW AC output and supporting up to 12 kW of photovoltaic input with 2 MPPTs.

Its compact, stackable design is intended to blend seamlessly into any environment while ensuring safety and reliability, backed by a 15-year warranty.

Key Features of the OCEAN 2 Single-Phase

Optimized installation: The batteries are significantly more compact, with a depth of only 196 mm and a height of 279 mm, reducing installation time by more than 20 minutes compared to previous systems.
Uninterrupted backup power: Offers 0 ms switchover time, ensuring continuous power supply during outages and protecting sensitive equipment. It is also compatible with third-party inverters on the backup side.
Smart Energy Management (HEMS): Includes an intelligent mode that automatically optimizes solar energy usage and cost savings, supporting more than 500 dynamic electricity tariffs across Europe.
Outstanding durability and performance: The LFP battery cells support up to 10,000 charge cycles, ensuring a long service life. In addition, the system allows for a 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD).
Maximum flexibility: One of its key advantages is the ability to mix and match Generation 1 and Generation 2 batteries within the same system.

Comparison: EcoFlow OCEAN 2 vs. PowerOcean (Generation 1)

When comparing both systems, the Ocean2 (Gen 2) delivers significant improvements in durability, offering 10,000 life cycles compared to the 6,000+ cycles of the first generation. It also provides a full 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD), whereas the original PowerOcean model is limited to 95%.

In terms of capacity and scalability, the new system doubles performance by supporting up to 6 batteries per inverter, reaching a maximum capacity of 30.12 kWh, compared to the previous limit of 15.3 kWh with 3 batteries.

The physical design has also been optimized, with the battery height reduced to 279 mm (compared to 424 mm in Gen 1) and improved environmental resistance thanks to its IP66 rating, surpassing the IP65 protection of the previous model.

Finally, Ocean2 stands out with its 0 ms switchover capability for seamless backup power and its unique flexibility, allowing batteries from both generations to be combined within the same installation, maximizing investment value and energy management efficiency.
